Does anyone know when the new DEKA arm will hit the VA system and which VA hospitals will be used as research sites?

The VA has started the trials of the DEKA Arm. The first two sites are: VA NYHHS (Manhattan Campus) and Tampa VA.

Not sure how 'great' it's gonna be... The electric elbow will be useful and more controllable, but the 'hand' lacks the grip strenth to be truly useful. In the end, the electric hook is still 100x more functional...
