I'm in need of advice regarding delayed Step 2 score release.
My score was released on September 28th, that is, the same day when programs start downloading ERAS applications. I resubmitted my NBME scores via MyERAS that very same day. Question: should I be contacting any of the programs that I applied to and let them know that all my scores are available or is the application automatically updated on their end?
I reached out to my academic advisors and their opinions differ. One is adamant I should not be contacting anybody since according to him, ERAS applications are automatically updated and that any unnecessary communication during this busy time is looked upon unfavourably. Another says I should contact programs coordinators and let them know that the score is out.
What is the advice of the SDN community?
To give a little more background: I'm applying to psychiatry. My step 1 score is 230 and step 2 is 234. I have two interviews so far.
