I am an FMG, who had passed the step 1 (87 / 214) and took the step 2CK on August 8th and was supposed to get the result on Aug 30th. As you guy might know that any one who took the CK between Aug 3rd and Aug 15th will not have their results till Sept 13th (per NBME). That's when I will be getting my result for CK.
I have done all the prep work for my ERAS and have everything ready besides LORs and now CK result.
I have two part QUESTION:
should I apply to programs right now or should I wait for the CK results.???
I know for AMGs, they can apply to programs even without CK result. FMGs can do this too, however, PRACTICALLY speaking would I be considered by the program without CK result if I apply to programs today (sept 1st)???? OR should I wait for my CK results and then apply tp programs which would be Sept 13th ???
will it not be bit late, as most students apply on sept 1st????
also, I am taking CS in Sept 11th......

Thanks!!
KEMC

Apply now, add your CK when it's available, and don't worry about it. You may be invited for interviews without the CK, but if not, mid-Sept is not too late to get invites. Not even close. There'll be plenty of interview dates available weeks from now.

same boat!
post here if you find out your score before sept 13.
i'll do the same

I would apply now before your CK score comes in.
On your ERAS application check the box "do not submit my updated USMLE transcript" or sth like that once the CK score becomes available.
That way you will have a chance to look at your score before programs will. And if you do great you can submit the score any time. But if you don't do so well you can delay submitting it until you interview (that way a not so great score won't hurt your application early).
That gives you flexibility.
