It depends on your stats. Do you have a glaring deficiency in GPA/MCAT that needs to be addressed?

Why did you premed advisor want you to wait a few years to become a "different" applicant? I usually hear this when there's something in someone's past that they need to be far removed from in order to have a chance. Would "better" applicant be more fitting in your case?

I haven't heard back anything at all post-secondaries. Calm down, sir or ma'am.

not marrying a medical student? he's missing out.

ok you listed things you'd do during your gap year but what ECs do you currently have?

You applied a little too too heavy. However, you have three interviews so I wouldn't count yourself out yet. Even with the not fantastic school list, I don't think you have to worry at this point.

the average BMI of your school is way above median... at least that's what wedge was saying

Reapplying the next cycle is fine as long as you improve your app. If you have to be a re-app, stress that you matured and how you became certain you want to be a physician.

Something like prison education would certainly be interesting and make for some damn good secondary essays. Just make sure to get a good amount of clinical experience as well.

If you re-app, add some more safety schools with lower average stats. Best of luck though, and you certainly aren't down or out yet!
