Got accepted into Stony Brook dental (>95% graduating rate), currently enrolled for first year at a dental school (the school is only a few years old, and private). Advice needed on how to set my affairs with my current school in a respectful and professional manner. I have 24 hours to respond to my acceptance.
did u pay a deposit at Stony? what happens if u dont respond by the deadline

whatever you do def don't start off with "I regret to inform you..."

Thank you very much for your input.

My decision is to go to Stony Brook. The admissions director left me a voice mail at 4:30pm. I called her back within an hour letting her know of my interest. She was extremely nice over the phone. She said I have 24 hours to make a final decision.

Now I'm preparing on how to withdraw from the current school that I'm going to. Currently enrolled for the "introductory" summer semester as a first-year student.
if i were u, id call the dean of admissions at your current school asap to discuss this; since ur officially enrolled already, im thinking there's going to be a sign-out procedure

Walk up to the front of the classroom. Pick up the mic. Say “mamba out.” And walk off.
