1) you’re not on Reddit 😉 2) don’t say anything unless asked. Unsure why youwrote about something you hadn’t even started but whatever.

Hahaha, you caught me. Figured I’d cast a wider net just in case.
As per 2.), I was under the impression I was about to start considering the VC had invited me to the program and all the application info had been completed, but I do realize this was a pretty dumb move in retrospect. I’m honestly feeling pretty broken up about this since it seems to have gone completely wrong.
While I kinda agree with your take, I do know schools conduct more thorough background checks after the final AMCAS decision in April, so I’m worried about this potentially causing my acceptance to be rescinded. Would it not be better to have this letter there just in case?
Listen, you told them about a projected activity you hadn't started. Frankly, schools kinda laugh at that kinda thing and almost move with the assumption you won't do it. Things happen its not a big deal. If you REALLY are worried, then wait until you get into a school and just say hey my plans changed and I ended up doing this instead. I promise they don't care as much as you think they do especially if you hadn't even started yet.

So should I notify the schools I've already been accepted to and then just notify the rest if I get accepted into them?
Yup I wouldn’t even notify I would just call and see if they care

okay yeah makes sense. And out of curiosity, why do you think doing it after getting accepter better than doing it post-Interview? Wouldn’t it be better to do it before to make sure they don’t think I’m taking advantage of the situation?
Because ifs not a big DEAL lololol
