Hi!

I saw advice that you should mention another acceptance in an intent to your desired school if your original acceptance is higher ranked? I have Colorado under my belt, but want to intent to Brown for financial aid purposes (need based aid) and geographical (Im from the east coast). I will likely only mention the geographical reasons in addition to fit with the school and curricula, but overall the question is, should I mention colorado in my intent?

That means Harvard/Stanford/Yale level and the other school thinks you wouldn't be interested in them. Agree with Goro.
