Yea unless it's specifically expired (like mine) if you already have an A in that course I'd do something else to strengthen your app if you have time and money on your hands.

Right, but I was saying that, for example, I already took General Chemistry 1 in-person in Fall 2017, and got an A. So, I've already taken the pre-requisite in person and don't need to retake it to replace a deficient grade.

I'm just retaking General Chemistry 1 at UCLA Extension online to refresh my knowledge.

Why not just audit instead?
