For Texas, I think Dell also focuses on engineers and innovation, but clearly TMDSAS lets you apply to all the Texas schools. Geography can also matter if you grew up in a medically underserved region. Keep building more experience with food pantry or other community service orientation activities. Free clinics and hospice/pallative care is also good to pursue.
