does anybody know what amenities deming provides for interviewing students? ie hair dryer, towels, internet, tv? Thanks.

It doesn't provide any. Do NOT stay there.

hmm...i currently have a room reserved there for my interview in a couple of weeks. is it really that bad at Deming? I looked at the website (http://deming.tulane.edu/accomodations.html) and it looks decent for the $50. Plus, my student host also resides at Deming, so I don't have to travel far at all (Sat. night - my own room, Sun. night - stay with host, Mon - interview).

i used to live there. if you bring your own sheets, towel, and have a book to read, it'll be alright. it's close to the quarter as well so you could get a cheap taxi and go eat somewhere by yourself if you wanted.

does deming have wireless? or have a place where computers are provided?

they dont really provide anything....there's a heater/air conditioner, tv, and plenty of towels. There were toilet paper in the bathroom and soap but that was about it. It wasn't too bad though - I had a pretty large suite to myself, it was just a little bit depressing and there isn't much restaurants that would deliver in the area - just pizza and some chinese restaurants. I recommend doing the host program.
