Hey everyone,
I had an idea today, we could all slowly make a list of demographics associated with cancers and diseases. It would be a group project compendium kinda deal and all you have to do is copy and paste part of the below list to help out. It would slowly grow and probably help alot of us out. I organized the list by "Cancer" and then the following organ systems, eventually we can put the cancers into the exact organ systems. PLEASE DON'T EXPAND THIS BEYOND DEMOGRAPHICS, THUS JUST STICK TO RACE/SEX/AGE. if this works we can do other lists like microbiology bug common locales, cancer gene mutations, chromosomal translocations, etc. So, to help out just copy and paste the below list into your post after you have added whatever cancer/disease you want to add. I'll start with some very basic ones so everyone gets the hang of it. Please add though:
CANCERS OVERALL:
Glioblastoma Multiforme - Adults 40-65.
DISEASES:
ENDOCRINE
GI
Prostate Cancer - African Americans
HEMET/LYMPH
Sickle Cell - African Americans
NEURO
RENAL
Adult PKD - 50-60's.
REPRODUCTIVE
RESPIRATORY
Cystic Fibrosis - North European Caucasians
