hello,
I was wondering if you apply to ross or any other Caribbean school and get denied, how long do you have to wait to reapply?
For example, you apply in August for the January cycle, but you get denied. Say you retake the mcat, can you still apply for the January cycle?

If you get denied by a school like Ross, you should probably seek a different career.

I'm not trying to be snarky. It's well-known that not everyone whom these schools accepts is truly prepared to become a successful physician (or even a successful medical student). If a profit-driven school like Ross that only seeks to fill its spots with warm bodies (and money) is convinced that those drop-outs are a notch above you, you really should look into other career avenues.

Man reading some of the posts on this section is truly depressing... there's such a mix between positive and negative posts about Caribbean schools (justifiably so).

No one can deny that going to a Caribbean school is considered a second tier choice as many would want to get into US or CAN schools. People have to realize that even though they get in their chances are relatively poor of being a successful graduate. I know that this may seem like false hope, but you could try to apply more broadly to the Caribbean. If it doesn't work again in this situation, you definitely need to consider a new career option. I hate to be the party pooper but ... everyone thinks they can be the exception... when reality is only a few truly can be.

Good luck in whatever you try to do in the future OP.

Look of you dont get accepted into a US MD/DO school, you should retake courses and try again.

However,

Schools like Ross accept students giving them a 50% chance of failing out or graduating.

If you cant get into ross, you have to look at other careers.
