hi jaishreekrishna
its good that u r getting job but u cant study after working so long hours why dont you ask them if u can work for few days like 3 days a week so other days u can study.👍 ALL THE BEST

thank u vijaggi for ur help. i guess i shd do tat. But i m sure they r not gonna consider it. let me try still.
please give in some more input guys. I got to give the ans for job in a days time

Hi,
If you have a good financial suppot, then its better not to work for at least a while-till u r done with nbde.Working so many hours & days & then preparing 4 the exam cud be tough.I'm not trying to discourage u. Otherwise you cud probably look 4 a part time job as DA[less hrs & days]
Hope this helps !👍

i dont ve a financial problem as such, but my main concern is i m not working since a yr now and till i take exams it will be another few months. i dont know wether that will affect my dental admission or my future as a dentist🙁. i mean 2 yrs doing nothing except preparing for exams should not affect my proffesion. There r already experienced dentists here who have passed thru this phase, pls help me out with this confusion. PLSSSSSSSSS

hi..just concentrate on the exam....and finish it off in 2 months....so u can apply for this year..r u frm india??anyways ive heard that dentists here will make u mix alginate etc and clean instruments...and assist them..the clinical work tht u do in the patients mouth is nothing sooooo great...if uve had a chance 2 work in india..so, rather not get exploited by them..focus on the exam..just my opinion..i may be wrong...

Even I feel the same as docsmiley said!! Say urself that i even left the job option for nbde. that gives u a lot of motivation. i also had the same situation but i decided to study.

working as a fulltime assistant and prepare for the nbde at the same is a tough task..

you had better get a part time job,,such as 3 days a week..and study 4 days a week very efficiently...
and then if you can keep that hard studying for 3 months,,you will get good score in nbde...at the same time you got some working experience,,which will strengthen your dental school application...

a lot of dental school ,,they focus on the working experience in united states..

keep up the good work and good study attitude..you will be fine..

best wishes...

[yup i feel doing part time job and studying is actually a very gud idea. i hope i get a part time job. Am searching for one. Thank you guys for ur help. And gud luck to every1.
