I just got done working 12 hrs today w/ no lunch break. One emergency patient who came in was in so much pain, he used kerosene as mouth wash . I wonder what kind of friend would recomend that remedy.

For anyone stupid enough to try petroleum as an anaesthetic, I'd recommend a cigarette chaser. It's Darwin...some people just shouldn't still be walking around.

I found out Bacardi 151 is a great pain killer for a toothache. You just hold a little in your mouth, spit it out once it stops working and pour some more in. Or you could swallow it - that would probably work even better 😀

I hope my patient didnt swallow the kerosene 😱 You get a feeling for how desperate people become when they are in pain 🙁
