I was wondering where I should put my dental experience.

I've done about 600+ hours of dental assisting at local dental office...

I think it can be both dental experience and volunteering..

Can I put in both sections?

if you were paid for those 600 hours then it goes under work experience else that would be considered shadowing....

If I remember correctly, when you input an activity it ask if you were paid for it or not. So put in under dental experience and hit yes if you got paid. Put it under dental experience even if you did not get paid.
