Dental hygienist in Maryland?

Hi guys,I am wondering how long it will take until I"ll be able to work as a d.h?I ve graduated in Bulgaria 1 month ago and since then I am in Maryland.I've tried with visiting dental hygienist board,but it will take a lot of time,and I have 3months left.can anyone help me and tell me where to go ?even dental assistent sounds ok for now,so such information it will be usefull for me.thanks to everyone...

I never heard about a DDS working as a hygienist in any of the states but if Maryland allows it go for it

otherwise if you have a work permit you will be able to work as a dental assistant

i ve heard about that,but they want me an x ray certificate which is 1month programa.i ll be here for 3 months so if u know some other faster way to get x ray certificate ill be very grateful.thanks a lot
