Does anyone one know of a good website that had pictures, names and information on the different dental instruments.

I landed an assisting position and I wanted to get a head start.

Thats good to hear, I also landed a assisting position about a week ago.. my opinion is dont worry about the instruments.

As you assist youll catch on quick. I will try and look at procedures.. I borrowed a book from my local library on dental assisting. Its been very helpful.

The dentist at the clinic I am volunteering at made a powerpoint presentation of instruments they use most often for us to look at...it doesn't have everything, but it has pictures and explanations of some important ones. Here's the link:
