I was filling out TMDSAS and I saw what the dental applicants had to write:
"discuss your philosophy of the dental profession"
SO what is dental philosophy?

I'm not trying to troll, I am genuinely curious.

Members don't see this ad.
 
To do a half as*ed job and to charge extra for procedures they don't need.

Then it should be obvious. To help the patient out to the best of my ability. Complete honesty. Being kind and relaxed in my demeanor so as to make the patient feel welcome and comfortable enough to tell me what is troubling them without being embarrassed.

Ok, that's what I thought (to the second part), I just didn't know if there was something less obvious I was missing.
