I've just recently planned to pursue dental school. I'm currently a sophomore spending an extra semester to complete my B.S. in Biology. Hopefully I can take the DAT within the next few months and my overall GPA:3.5 (sGPA:3.17). I took my first two years of college coursework at my local community college while in high school and I've been looking through some schools such as Tufts and they do not accept community college coursework. Does anyone know of programs that wouldn't mind the community college credit? Plus, I know my science gpa is lower and if I get good grades this semester, I can get it up to a 3.3. Would that still be acceptable?

I did the same thing as you - I spent my first two years at a CC before transferring (one of those years was while I was in HS). The majority of schools don’t mind if you have taken some CC classes but many also want you to take some classes at a university. Here is an excel sheet that I used when I first started looking into which schools I wanted to apply to (the info is a little old, but it should give you an idea of the schools you can and cannot apply to because of your CC credits). There is a column in the excel sheet for CC credit and how many/whether or not they accept them.

If 3.17 sGPA includes your cc coursework, that's extremely bad.
You need to take upper electives and get more As. Otherwise, you're looking at a masters program after undergrad.

Hypothetically, if I got good grades my sGPA would jump to a 3.3 and I know that's still low but do you think that a 3.3 would be acceptable? (Also, my science gpa for cc (high school dual enrolled) was fine, it was my first year in university that struck me cause I had two C's which is why I'm nervous because it's my 2nd year in uni and I've just recently gotten better.

3.3 is fine but what I am saying is 3.3 sGPA from undergrad is not okay. 3.3 sGPA cc + undergrad is not good considering you said you got 2 Cs in undergrad. Shoot for a strong upward trend
