Does anyone know what the average dental school curriculum looks like as far as average credit hours? Is there any benefit in going to a school where you will be enrolled in more credit hours or should you just look at the national board pass rates? For example at Creighton first year you will complete 92 hours vs. UMKC with 42.5

Thoughts?

In my experience, credit hours are made up and used for the admins more than the students. Not sure how a 6 hour lab can only be worth 3 credit hrs or 3 hours of anatomy 5 days a week can be only 4 credit hours. Courses you take matter more and everyone takes pretty much the same basic sciences. In theory, less credit hours maybe givez you less room for error rank wise, but if you are thinking about that, you got bigger problems on hand

I think board pass rate at this point shouldn't hold too much weird because we will all be guinea pigs for the new one
