dental school debt

Does anyone know assuming an average dental school tuition and then buying into a practice after graduation, what is the average debt a new graduate dentist has in say his or her first year or two? It seems that this number could easily approach almost a half a million dollars.

No wonder dentists have a reputation of popping themselves.
