It will vary wildly from one school to another. It's just not easy to generalize, unfortunately.
If you have a GPA around 3.5 in dental school generally what rank will you fall into? Top 25%? Top 20%? In your class where will you fall? Just give a rough estimate.
At Buffalo, that will safely place you in the top 25-30 students in your class of 80-90. Depends on the year and the make-up of the class, but this is a fair estimation. Could be slightly higher (15-25), all depends on your class....
At Pacific that would probably put you somewhere in the 30-50/140 range, but as everyone else has said it depends on your school.
Top 30-50/125 at well at Temple. (according to my class rank, my friends and our GPA's) again, as Bill mentioned, a very rough estimate.
That's around the class average at Pitt.
