Dental School Interview Feedback

I just received a decline from this school. My GPA is ok & my DAT scores are rock solid. Being out of state is evidently a big deal. 7 more schools to go. They didn't ask for an application fee, so I'm saving about $700 including airfair. I'm going to go buy myself something nice now.
 
yes you are very right. i too got a letter from them saying that the admissions com has chosen to defer my app.

i thought maybe it was my gpa. apparently not!
 
Since this post is stuck here, I think after you give your feedback for a particular school, you should post in this thread that you have done so. Then we can all mosey on over to see what you wrote. Thanks!
 
I just wanted to add to my review of my Tufts interview that the first thing they told us in the interview is that 80-85% of the people they interview get accepted. So for those of you who got interviews there, sounds like we're in good shape 🙂

I am going to have my first interview at Detroit-Mercy; I was wondering if anyone had an idea about the relative success of interviewees in acceptance. How many people do they interview per spot? I also read that is it is open file; does that mean that I should expect to be drilled on my poor academic performance in my early years?
