This thread is for all of the dental students who have had dental school nightmares. As busy with school as we are, its inevitable that you have a Dental School Nightmare.

Here is a recent one.

I have had the same dream 3 times in the last three weeks, I go to the mailbox and find the letter from the ADA with my board scores in it. I get all excited and open the letter quickly, suddenly my eyes see a score that is alot lower than I had wanted to achieve. I usually wake up the next morning all depressed from the horrible news until I realize it was just a dream. Its at this time I become depressed again from the prospect of having to wait another 2-5 weeks for my scores.

I had one last week, same topic of course. I was talking with some random woman who apparantly does all of the grading for the boards. She told me that I had missed too many q's on 2 sections and she would have to give me B's on those sections. A little strange.

this is a true story, not a dream

i was taking part 1 (paper) last year, and i had a sucky eraser on my mechanical pencil. on the micro/path section, i tried to erase and change an answer and the stupid eraser chewed a hole through my scantron sheet!!!!!! i almost died right there. after the test, i showed the dean who was in the room - she made sure mine was graded by hand! yay! all turned out well in the end by the way...

I think you just found the next screenplay for M. Night Shamalayan..."The Dream"

I had that dream last night. My score was a big fat 41.

Worst dental school nightmare is when you study in your sleep. It's not like you're making any progress by "studying" during your dreams, but it's more like pushing a boulder up a mountain just to have it fall when you're about to get to the top and having to go get it and start over. Studying during your sleep is the last thing you want to do.

Rather than dreaming about my fantasies, I end up reading notes that I'll forget when I wake up instead. That's my dental school nightmare.
