Hey all. I'm almost done with all my classes and clocking about 220 hours at a general dentist's office, so i thought it would be good for me to get a change of scenery and start doing dental research instead. However, I'm wondering if this would this even be possible with my current background? I really want to use my gap year productively =)

about me:
senior apply next semester
3.8 gpa
22 AA
biochem major
currently have 1 year of fuel cell research (on going , will get published soon..)
no biochem research experience however =[

P.S: My UG does not have a dental school, so I would be blindly asking professors in socal.

Any kind of research is good, it doesn't have to be dental-related. You have great stats btw! Just continue with the research you're doing now and you should be fine!

I know I don't need to have dental related research, but I thought it would be nice to have especially since I'll have a 1-2 semester gap. I'm mainly doing it out of curiosity because I want to see dentistry from a different perspective =).
