Dental school with Transition (TM) lenses?

Does anyone have experience working with glasses that have Transition lenses? Will the lenses turn dark when exposed to dental light or perhaps curing light or if it'll interfere anyway while in lab/clinic?

I will be starting dental school soon and I am curious if I would need to purchase new lenses without Transitions.

Dude, no offense meant at all, but I haven't seen people with transition lenses in almost 15 years. Time to get a new pair of glasses me thinks, dental light or no dental light.

Transition lenses are always stuck in a weird in between... too light to be sunglasses, dark enough to be creepy. Time to upgrade!
