Everyone gets sick in school eventually and takes a hit on an exam. You could try speaking with the professor for an extension, but I doubt they grant it.

Your school has a policy for this occasion and every student has to follow it. You are contagious and have to be quarantined
It is not heroic, but very irresponsible to spread deadly virus just because you don't want to postpone exam
