Hello,
I have been accepted for the class of 2008 ( I will start this July) at Pacific. I am very excited, but I have a lot of questions too. If anyone is a student there I would love to get your opinion on a few things.

1. Since you are in class all day (9-5 or 8-5). when do u have time to do research in case you want to specialize?

2. is there adequate study time after class? Say you finish at 5 and get home like at 530, you grab a bite to eat and relax for a few minutes. By now its like 615 and you start studying. What time will you be done studying?

3. how often are tests?

4. Will anything change after Dugoni leaves?

5. when you have to handle a personal matter like a doctors appointment or go to court or anything liek that and you have to miss class, is it tough to catch up?

Sorry for all the silly questions, I just want to know what the student life is like. I tried to ask as many questions as possible at the interview, but i couldn't remmeber them all.

I dont plan on specializing. I dont think anyone in my class is doing research right now, 1st yr is very hectic (Im a 1st yr). A few ppl have the time to do it 2nd yr.

Chances likely, you'll end up staying after school to do ur preps and other projects a few nites out of the week. I dont study that much on weekdays b/c Im usually exhausted after school. I do most of my studyings on weekends.

3. how often are tests?
Expect quiz/exams weekly, along with practicals and projects.
4. Will anything change after Dugoni leaves?
Not sure, hopefully not.

5. when you have to handle a personal matter like a doctors appointment or go to court or anything liek that and you have to miss class, is it tough to catch up?

Not so bad. Just have to take time out on weekends or nites to do your project, asssuming you can get it right the few first times. Projects are the most time consuming ones. You'll know what i mean once u start school.

Hey,
is this Mary from UOP? The ASDA Mary? If so, I hope your test goes well. Our midterm wk is coming next.
Btw, this is Eric at the Denver regional meeting.
