I am going to be starting school in the fall. However, I know nothing about what to expect as far as the NBDE part I and part II exams or licsencing exams that I will have to take. I was just wondering if someone could give me a little perspective and insight as to what they test for and how the tests are structured. This might seem late to be asking a question like this, but i guess I was just more concerned with getting in rather than what to expect.

Late? You are way early. Part I focuses on material mostly from your first year. Part II are clinically based questions and is taken in your fourth year. You don't have to even worry about Part I for a while. If you work on learning the material during first year, and not necessarily "the grade", you will be well prepared for the boards.
Finally, after four years that will fly by, there is a clinical licensure exam that differs by region. That will be explained when you get to your fourth year. Of course, New York has PGY1 (an extra year of training instead of clinical licensure exam).

Congrats on getting in.
