can anyone tell me how one would go about getting a dental xray lic in los angeles?

You have to take an xray certification class.

just one more question. i don't know this but is having a cert the same as a lic?

After you fulfill the requirement for that course, you will have your license to take xray.
I know we need a license to take xray in CA, but I am not sure about Indiana
and whether the license works in Indiana.
