Do you get penalized for your dentist not proofreading their letter before sending it? The dentist that wrote my letter sent me a copy of what he sent its sounded good but the grammar was off in some sections.

No. It's not your fault. I suppose we could solicit writing samples as we look for shadowing gigs.

Haha the exact same thing happened to me. It was an great letter but had quite a few mistakes, but I think it's the content that adcoms care about, not formatting.

Yeah, I highly doubt the adcoms are going to penalize you for a dentist's typos.
