So I've got this friend with a 17 on my... I mean HIS dat (what a ******). So.. anway, this doofus applies to a bunch of schools and gets like 3 interviews right off the bat and is sure to schedule them early because I mean come on, A 17? Get real, I'm... OR I MEAN he's lucky to have one interview am I right? Well, so he show's up to the interview and pretty much cleans house on all the other cannidates cuz he's so manly and such a stallion... So basically everyone at the dental schools fall in love with him. *true story. Or so he says. Anyway, lets be honest, is he going to get into these 3 schools or not? Maybe they are just pulling my.. er HIS chain.. know what im sayin fellas? So, whats the word, is my 'friend' getting in or what? Did i mention how he was a lady killer too?.. Anyways... HOLLER BACK HOMIES..

He may have a chance as long as he could conceal how full of crap he is at the interviews. Although that might not be enough considering the ***** got a 17 on the DAT and seems to be proud of it.

If you get the interview, the school thinks you're competent to join the class. Your sarcasm may work for you, or others (like the two posters here) may think you're a complete ass. If you did well on the interview, then I'd feel good about yourself. A lot of it has to do with how well the school thinks you'll blend in with the other students and how likely it is you'll be a contributing part of the group.

i somewhat agree with your posts, i mean 17 is not a complete *****, but i do believe that if you have charismatic abilities and is able to charm your interviewers your a shoe in... and if you do get a interview it does show your competent..
there are other factors to, GPA, voluntary work, recommendations..
