Hello everyone!

I am absolutely in love 😍 of Boston...the few times that I have been there, I felt like Alice in Wonderland ! 😀 . It is such a clean city (the sidewalks are so beautifully paved and spotless), safe (pedestrians walk there at all hours of the night), it has a vibrant night life, so many coffee shops and restaurants 👍 , a theater district, a reputable ballet company and symphony orchestra, an old port by the ocean, it is multicultural, has a lot of green spaces ( beautiful city parks such as the "Boston Common" and let's not forget the stunning town of Cambridge nearby the city), it has many Ivy League universities in it's vicinity (Harvard, MIT, Boston U, Tufts), Cape Cod is very close by for those who want a summer cottage or like going out with their boats, roller bladding 👍 ( I am a big roller blade fan) and bike paths galore (the longest paths I have ever seen...miles and miles with no end )right by the Charles River as well as sailing on the Charles River-everyone seems so health conscious and in shape-it seems to me like everyone is a jogger in that city! Every Sunday (11am-7pm) some of the city streets are closed to give more space for bikers, roller bladders and pedestrians And let's not forget all those gorgeous young Bostonian men!!!! 😀 😍 👍 Need I say more?! No wonder it has been named one of the best cities to live in in North America!!!!

I have spoken to a few dental students that studied in Boston and from what I understood, it is easy to get settled into an associateship and there is a high demand for dentists. I wouldn't mind living in the suburbs or practicing in the outskirts of Boston. Are there any Bostonians or dentists from Boston in this forum? If so, please tell me what your impressions are. I would appreciate some feedback. Thanks! 👍 🙂

I was told by a former BU dental student that dentistry in Boston wasn't that great because there were a lot of schools around. 😕

Although my program is small and intimate and we go to med school for two years, dental school in Boston has been quite enjoyable. The city is manageable and still exciting. I recommend it!
