Dentists working in community clinics- how many patients do you see per day?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
My health center in central CA wants you to see about 15 a day, which includes child prophy, recall exams, sealants, etc on top of operative, where your staff is doing much of the chair time in your non-working schedule column. Our salary scale starts around 140K.

In the health center I work at in WA we see approximately 20 patients a day. We run two chairs, an op. chair and an exam or recall chair.

I externed at one during dental school for 3 months. The doctors had base pay between 130k to 140k and depending on whether they surpassed yearly production they got bonuses. The doctors had 1-2 chairs and saw anywhere from 10-30 patients a day.
