I want to make deposits on two schools (I can't decide by Jan) which will cost me 2K. However, I'm having a little trouble getting 2k! For those of you who are making deposits, even if only one, how are you paying for it?😀

I plan on paying my deposits out of pocket, if you can't afford the deposits for the schools you're debating between it'd personally take it as a sign that you should just make up your mind and chose one (maybe using some type of elaborate diagram or pros/cons list?). Or... if you really can't decide you could just charge it w/ a credit card and pay it later, or try to take out a 2k loan from the bank... nothing like starting your dental debt early I suppose... hehe

I would just take your time here, you have until jan 15th. Do your research during X-mas vacation and make a list of pros and cons and then make a decision. That would be a lot easier money wise and then someone else can have the second spot that you don't need. Really it doesn't matter too much, your gonna be a dentist either way. Pick the one that costs lests and the town where you feel more at home.

I paid the $0 deposit for HSDM out of pocket hehe 😉. But seriously, it is a good thing there is no deposit because I need to start saving some serious cash for cold weather clothes. I don't own a single coat, and that will need to change before I move to Boston. 😀
