I need a few ideas about a research project that a friend must complete by summer, she is working with a Dermatologist at a top school and she is currently an undergrad. The Dr asked her to come up with her own project, does anyone have any suggestions for a possible research project that would be easy for an undergrad to complete within 2 months regarding derm?

I'm not shy, if it were for me I would say so... That being said, I promised to help her brain storm ideas, however I'm not that familiar with derm research, that is why i'm asking here.

a project on morgellons would be nice. she could collect all the different yet unclassified species of creatures living in the skin. the next step would be microarray analysis looking for single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs), allowing taxonomic categorization of these animals. Then, once several new species have been unearthed, she can publish in either science or nature.
