I was just wondering, since most people who match into derm tend to have higher board scores, what review books they used to study for the Step 1.

I know the First Aid USLME Step 1 book is essential, but what about subject specific texts, such as High-Yield Embryology, BRS Physiology, BRS Pathology? What books did people use for Cell Bio, Histology, Genetics, Microbiology, Anatomy, Immuno, etc? I am looking for review books, and not textbooks.

Is it necessary to buy many subject specific review books if I am shooting for over 250 on the Step 1?
