Anyone have advice on how to tackle the dermpath boards? The passing rate for path-trained fellows is significantly lower than the derm-trained ones due to the lack of clinical dermatology knowledge. Will reading McKee or Weedon and flipping through atlases suffice?

It's not difficult at all. Took it last year and found it comparatively easier than pathology boards. Look at Bolognia's pictures and Fitzgeralds atlas. Immunobullous disease and adnexal tumors are high yield stuff. If you went to a high volume place for fellowship and study for few weeks you will pass without any difficulty.

do a quick review of the AAD website for medical students to review the basics...McKee and Bologna are good also..but review as many clinical images as you can.
