Are you guys clearing these cases so long as antiplatelet therapy is continued?

Example: DES placed 5 months ago presents to your office for a total hip next week. Would you clear them so long as dual platelet therapy is continued?

usually the test answer is delay surgery especially if something elective like an orthopedic surgery, we do a fair share of pre-op with my group and i have yet to see a patient who had recent DES (within 1 yr) being planned for surgery
