So im currently stuck at thinking about failures and i was wondering if this idea is

1) depicting a failure
2) too generic
3) the lessons i learned are not showing me in the best light
4) not related to medicine related

the failure: When I was doing wet lab research i worked with a mentor and she described my project to me and what steps i need to take to complete it and suggested for me to be super meticulous and write everything i did down. at the time i was too arrogant and i thought i was above these rules and didnt write down my steps cause i thought it was too tedious and I ran the experiment multiple times and kept failing. i was too embarrassed to ask for help especially cause my mentor already “criticized” me once so i was alrdy terrified. Without reflection or pausin, i kept repeating the experiment another 2 times and to no surprise I kept getting bad results

the lessons i want to highlight are
1) its ok to ask for help it doesnt make me dumb
2) i need to be meticulous in my actions, i am not above the rules or better than people legit advising me so lowkey i need to be humble is the lesson
3) criticism isnt negative or a personal attack its necessary to progress as a person

would this be a good example?
