I it's a very broad topic but wanted to ask the opinion of the other docs about an ideal FP
I have a few options and several offers but I m having a hard time to decide what are realistic expectations and when to demand more and not to sell myself short
I've FP graduate from a good program in the Midwest, no malpractice issues and experiance in FQHC setting for last 6 yrs.Unfortunately I have limitations as have not done inpatient for yrs and very little outpatient peds and no OB other than low risk out patient.
I don't want to do OB other than the antenatal low risk, I would like to do inpatient but without procedures as I've forgotten a lot of them honestly.
What kind of practice would be ideal ? What kind of group or hospital setting
What should I look for in the malpractice coverage ? Any red flags
What setting urban vs rural would provide best benefits but no procedures inpatient
Realistically what kind of compensation can I expect that would be sustainable I.e not more than upto 60 hrs a week
