Hello fellow med students,

Does anyone know where I can find a generic progress note or admission note in microsoft word that will let me fill in lab values in a grid? I've seen other people using these. Nothing official is needed, just those grids, really. I tried making one myself on word tonight and it was such a mess. It took forever.

If someone could help me out, that would be so nice of you! Thanks.

Not sure if this is what you're looking for but medfools.com has some downloadable forms to help you keep track of your pts and their labs. There's a more detailed form for the admission H & P.

Watch out. Some attendings got mad at me for using a generic blank note. Don't put lab grids on your progress note if you don't have current values. Apparently it's bad medicine to have empty grids that you might or might not fill in later.
