Can someone explain to me the last step of the reaction in this problem? They say that HCl in ROOR will "simply add Markovnikov"...

.. how? Isn't anything with peroxides adding Anti-Markovnikov????😕

Not ANYTHING. HCl / Peroxide will add Markov, but HBr / Peroxide will add Anti-Markov. Hope this helps.

and NOT with HI or HCl, etc...
