whats the diff between x-linked recessive and dominate

IF it is dominant than even the heterozygous form will be affected however if it is recessive than only homozygous recessive will be affected
 
Agreed with Klutzy. A great example is that of the Drosophilia fruit flies and their eye color. Hopefully you know that experiment, it's a main topic in general biology.
