i dont really see the difference in the signals b/w B and C

On B....the methyl group closest to carbonyl gives a singlet...carbon3 gives quartet....and carbe 4 gives triplet

on C...the first CH3 gives singlet....the one next to carbonyl gives quartet and the last carbon gives triplet

im sure im doing something wrong but what is it? lol i never really know which directin to go like if im on carbon 2 do i look at carbon 1 or carbon 3 to see if its a singlet doublet or w/e...maybe thats why B and C look the same to me PLEASE HELP

B and C both give the correct signals like you said but if you look closely you will see that the graph given is for B. The quartet (from the CH2) is most down-field. This is because it is attached to the O.
The graph for C however would have a singlet most down-field.
