Are DAT destroyer (basic $149.95, ultimate $249.95) and Crack pat dat (ace edition $99.95, royal flush edition $199.95) useful???
It's too expensive.
Which do you recommend? basic or ultimate? ace edition or royal flush edition?
Is there anybody that sells these things above???

I ordered the basic DAT destroyer ... I haven't started working with it but it does look like its going to provide some pretty good practice. Based on the size of the book, I would have to say that its slightly over priced ... then again this is coming from someone who hasn't started review it, just skimmed through.

I also just bought the ace edition of Crack PAT DAT and ive taken 2 of the practice tests. I think this is going to be a great resource come test day. Ive already taken the DAT once and got a 22 on PAT and so far ive only been able to get 19s on the practice so far. My only thing is when I took the real DAT the cube counting section was slightly easier because it asked several questions about each particular figure whereas the Crack PAT asks 1 question for each different figure which takes up more time. Overall, I think its a great resource that will hopefully increase my score on test day. After all the more practice the better.

I used both the DAT Destroyer (basic) and Crack PAT DAT (ace) and found them to be very helpful. They do cost a lot and are probably over-priced, but I would gladly do it again even if it meant I could only eat top ramen for a month.

You might be able to find someone selling DAT Destroyer here or on craigslist. You can only purchase Crack DAT PAT from their website because you need an unique activation code for their software.

yup you can probably find destroyer for less buying it from someone in the forums. Just be sure to get the latest version 2008 if possible. Few more added questions from previous versions. Good luck!😀

I used both of them and I absolutely loved it. I believe they are very useful tools although a little expensive. It was worth it. Destroyer opened my mind to some science questions I would have never thought of. When I got the book, it blew me away. I ended up moving my test by a month to go through it. crack dat pat also opened my eyes to the pat section. Kaplan is a joke compared to this.

I had both the royal flush edition and the dat destroyer ultimate. As far as crack the pat, I thought that having the 10 practice tests was a useful tool to really get you accustomed to the pat section. But i found the extra stuff unecessary, and i really didnt use it that much. So i'd say to buy the 10 practice tests without the extra stuff.
For the destroyer, i'd say both are excellent tools. If you're taking orgo this year, then I'd say getting the odyssey is definitely worth the investment, bc good grades in orgo and goot dat scores will put you in strong standings. I know that those two programs alone are a bundle of money, but they really are both worth it. And if you can find some extra money, Id really also reccomend trying to either get topscore or achiever-neither is as good as destroyer or crack the pat, but theyre good practice for sitting for the 4 hour test. I know the $ adds up, but if you can afford it, its worth it.

I have the destroyer and it is woirth every penny. It teaches you everything you need to know about the chemiostry sections for the dat and its bio is very good also.
