According to the answer key, answer is D.

Based on the explanation, it should be E right? not D...

Wait, what?

They said the answer was D, but in their explanation, it suggest E. They say they do not have mitochondria to do TCA but they can carry out glycolysis and do ETC.

So shouldn't it be E?

What are you guys talking about? Bacteria don't have mitochondria to have Krebs Cycle!!! The do Glycolysis and Electron Transport Chain (which could be at multiple sites).

The answer should be E!
