The question asks about heart muscle cells and says that intercalated disks are found in them (which i understand) but why aren't sarcoplasmic reticulums as well? Aren't both skeletal and cardiac muscle straited because of the myosin and actin sarcomeres?

Skeletal muscle has way more sarcoplasmic reticulum than cardiac muscle, but cardiac muscle does have a little. The sarcoplasmic ret. in cardiac muscle is less extensive and not as organized as it is in skeletal muscle.

i get that it would be less extensive, but is it so minimal that if it were included as an answer choice it would be wrong? both intercalated disks and sarcoplasmic reticulums were offered as answer choices but only intercalated disks was correct..
