Hi Everyone!!

I read the biology section of the Kaplan BB once and just began doing several questions of the Destroyer Biology. I am now freaking out! Anyone else had similar experience to this? And is this normal? There are questions on here that I don't even remember being covered in the Kaplan BB. This makes me believe that the Kaplan BB Biology section isn't sufficient enough. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks!

haha destroyer bio is just ridiculous so don't worry about it. i found the real DAT much easier. many people have said that kaplan's bio is not sufficient though, so i probably would study from other sources. some recommendations are: cliff's AP bio, barron's AP bio, and campbell's Biology (textbook). i found reading through campbell's the most helpful, but it's like 1000+ pages, so do it if you have time.

destroyer bio is intense but so is the dat bio!! There will be some questions that will make you go like huh? did they really just ask me that on the dat?! i agree with what drgummybear in that you have to supplement the destroyer with additional sources whether it be cliffs, barrons, or the big ole campells book, however, make sure that you know EVERYTHING in destroyer bio, and that means the solution...because thats where the wealth is 😉

you might want to look into the barrons flash cards as well! i used those instead of the book in addition to cliffs, and they were good

Don't freak out. The questions on the dat are different from destroyer bio. Use destroyer bio as more of a study guide. Read the questions and the answers closely and remember the facts they give you in the answers. They aren't really good practice questions, but more of a guide of where to aim you reading.
