consider the rxn of 2.5 M dichromate
Cr2O7^-2 -> Cr^3+
what would be the solution Normality if the rxn goes to completion.
I thought the normality in acide condition, is the Mole of H+
which is like H2SO4 -> 2H+ which is going to be 1M -> 2N
however, the question here is little strange to me.
I thought it starts with 2Cr 2.5M and becomes 2 Cr^3+
doesn't it have to be 5N ??
the answer was 7.5N
I don't know why the electrons affects the Normality ... which the answer talked about ...
somebody explains please
